After spending seven days traveling through Italy, we had a layover in London on our way back to the United States.
We spent two days in London exploring the city (mostly by foot).
We stayed at the Novotel London Tower Bridge, which was a great location (right next to the Tower of London)!
We spent some time walking through Camden Market (I had always wanted to visit because my sister had that iconic photo when she visited).
My favorite thing we did was have drinks at Oblix, at the very stop of the Shard. We had amazing views of London!
We also had a drink at Sketch, which has the coolest bathrooms, but didn’t have reservations to try their Michelin starred food.
We took a Harry Potter walking tour (and even got to use the boat for public transportation)! Make sure you get an Oyster card before you visit.
We also had afternoon tea at Swan, which is part of Shakespeare’s iconic Globe theatre.
