After spending six months replacing all the flooring in our home, we celebrated with a trip to Tulum in July.

We spent four nights at La Valise Tulum in a beach-side bungalow with an outdoor shower.

This was our first time visiting, so we learned a lot on our short trip. We took a private tour to swim in some of the local cenotes, took a day trip to Xel-ha natural waterpark, and managed to not get sick. But there’s plenty of other things to do in Tulum, too.
