Stillwater, Minnesota is one of those towns that oozes charm year-round, but summer is when I’ve always visited. On this particular trip, I stayed overnight for the first time—and it felt like a true destination getaway.

We stayed at the beautiful Rivertown Inn, and guess what? We were the only guests! The inn is tucked just off Main Street, making it easy to explore the historic district on foot. Cozy, quiet, and convenient—it was the perfect home base for a summer escape.
